Last October i went for an interview for this company, it's somewhat big, they have a stock, and I somehow got the job offer hours later with a call.
I accepted the offer, and about a week later they sent me a job offer in email, saying you start this week, your pay for the summer how long it is. In the email it said it's contingent on passing a background check etc.. in April ish.
I emailed the lady who I am in contact with at the company. Who initially offered me the offer, about 2 months ago, and I said hey how's it going just want to know like the next steps and such, she said itll be next year and email or call her with any questions.
Well new year is upon us, and last week I just wanted to check in since I haven't heard anything from them so I emailed the lady saying happy new year and such, just wanted to keep communications and do you know when like the training process is gonna start stuff like that.
Well she hasn't responded yet, and I also followed one the guys who interviewed last year and I think I'm supposed to work in his department. So I sent him a LinkedIn message. 2 days ago. Still no reply
So Im sure if I should call the lady or wait out some more. I haven't signed anything yet like a true contract. The offer letter was in email form and generic. I don't know exactly what to do cuz I'm banking on this internship for the summer, and you really can't find many quick internships this early if that one fails.
