How Far in Advance Should I Send a Cold Email to a Potential Employer Out of State?

I know that sending cold emails is generally frowned upon here, however I scored my last job with one, so I'm aiming to try again.

I moved out of Orlando, FL early last year and am now trying to move back this summer (July/August). How long should I wait to send an email to inquire about potential openings?
