Is "we will call you by Monday," (or any other specific day) a good sign, a bad sign, or a non-sign?

I thought I did very good in this interview. They showed me two tours of the place, including with someone who would be my immediate supervisor. We had an hour long interview scheduled and that went a half hour over time. They were enthusiastic, writing down notes, and telling me that they were impressed with my answers. Unlike other interviews I've ever been in though, there was no discussion on wage or start dates, but then again, I've never had such a structured interview before.

At the end he said he'd get back to me by the beginning of next week after discussing it with the rest of the interview team.

Having not done such a formal interview before, what should I read into such a reply?
