To threaten not to give 2 weeks no

Am I wrong? This company has a 403 match but u don't get it until the board votes in January. 'they always vote yes for all'. They dont tell u this in the interview and worse they dont tell u that the match only applies if u were working since Jan 1 so my fist year i started in march so i got no match. my second year is closing with what may be a better offer elsewhere so if i give notice say jan 2 i risk the board deciding, nah no match for u - its 6/3%. So what if i give notice stipulating the match goes in immediate or i will accept a legal letter that is actionable. else goodbye right here im gonna spend time on mo vacation. am i being a dick?
