Ghosted a Hotel job four years ago. Invited back to the company for an interview after applying.

It’s a Marriott property.

Pretty much, I worked at one of their Hotel properties for four months and ghosted on them. Two years prior to that, I worked at one of their properties and left on okay terms.

Yesterday, I was curious to see if I was eligible for rehire, so I called the Hotel where I ghosted and the HR person said I was eligible for rehire, though each property “can make their own discretion if they want”.

I also called the hotel where I left on good terms just to double confirm and they also said I was eligible but made no mention of ‘discretion’.

Anyway, here’s my question:

There’s a brand new Marriott property opening near me, and I was invited for an interview at a job fair. I have an RSVP.

It’s an exclusive property — very upscale.

Should I bring up that I left the company without a two week notice, or should I just keep quiet about it all and just let HR handle it if after the interview? If I do mention, what are some tips to alleviate that I left without a two week notice?

I want to seriously be a part of the Marriott company, so I hope I land the job. My last job was working at a Four Seasons for two years and on great terms!

Any advice is well appreciated, ladies and gents.
