Time Off - Christmas & New Year

During my career in NYC, all of my salary jobs give me a day off that accumulates per month (12 total). I also get usual holidays off & always off from 12/25 to 1/2.

However, in my new company, we only get one day off on Christmas and one day off New Year's. Is that the standard and I just been getting lucky or vice versa?

I love my job, don't mind the 50 hour minimum, but this time off does affect me.
