This is just for future reference for me. I just started my IT career, and barely have any time put into my current job. And while I'm grateful for the job, I'd like to keep advancing my career as much as possible. So should I let my employer know I'm looking to advance my career when the time comes, or should I keep it to myself? And what about if I'm trying to advance my career at the same company? Should I just apply to the job at the same company without telling my boss? I don't know the etiquette here lol.
