Recruiting company emailed me for a job at a company that my dad works for. Should I tell them my dad works there?

This is a programming job incase that matters. A recruiter that doesn’t know my dad and doesn’t work for the company that’s hiring but a recruiter company has reached out to me. Would that person be more inclined to hire me knowing somebody who already works in the same position has been teaching me my whole life. Or does the fact that it’s family deter her from hiring me.
