😑 I was offer a job at the county, but they are not being considered. They want background check schedule tomorrow which I was unwilling to do since I am current employed. They said it would take weeks to get background done, but plans to have me start November 18 cause that is training day. I told them I need to put in two weeks of notice to my current employer after the background check pass and what did the supervisor say? That’s going to be between you and your employer. That was so rude and insensitive.
Now, I did settle for Wednesday this week but still...that was not a good experience. Maybe I should have push it to next week. Regardless, shouldn’t they be considerate to people who are currently employed? Or am I just expecting too much?
