My dream job isn’t what I though

Should I give my new job another shot?

To preface: this has been my dream job for the past 5-10 years. I recently got hired and am having second thoughts after day 2.

I left university for a job in a city 300km from home. This job is highly sought after, pays 100k after a couple years, and I am one of the youngest trainees. The training is 6 months long.

I had to move away from my gf of 5 years (for a couple months), she hates the city, I’m not sure if I like it either now, the work-life balance is terrible and I’m not sure it’s a lifestyle I want.

...thinking of finishing this week, consulting my family at home on the weekend, then calling it quits
