Racism and discrimination in hiring process

I work for company where diveristy and increasing more women and minorities into management positions is a company goal.

Recently a job opportunity came up and instead of posting it to others in the company they will award it to a female first nations worker from a different division.

Ive been waiting for a promotion here and i feel that because im a white male I was passed over. My work is probobly superior to hers and i have more experience. When I was hired my boss said first job that opens up they sill try to put me in.

Feel like quitting, what should I do?
