Are unnatural hair colors unprofessional in the tech industry?

I’m thinking of dying my hair a pastel purple color but I’m a senior in college and will soon be looking for jobs. I have a career fair in about two weeks. I’m majoring in computer science and I’ll be looking for jobs on the west coast and in Colorado. I would love some input on this! Thanks.
