I'm 23 years old and I've only ever had one job. A job that lasted for one month at one of those pop-up Halloween stores in 2018. I wasn't fired or laid off, but I just... haven't been able to get work since. And because of that lack of experience and nearly one-year gap, I feel like every company I apply to either ignores my applications or flat out rejects me. I've been feeling extremely unhireable. I don't have a resume because I can't describe myself well, I'm bad at interviewing because of some severe social issues I have, and I hate where I'm at in life.
Does anyone here have advice for an unhireable person who can't afford to go to school to gain skills?
(Currently looking into the same Halloween store as last year. Maybe I'll get lucky.)
