Is it possible to split up a 3 months internship for three summers? Ie do one month every summer

Alright, So i need an internship badly and finally found a Travel Agency that is willing to offer me one. When I spoke to the managing director (we did not get into details yet) he said it will be a 3 months summer internship and he will write me an offer next week.

My problem: Im going to Uni abroad and intend to come back each summer but my uni doesnt offer 3 months holiday but rather 1 month and half so I can only do one month each summer and honestly It's fitting for me.

Question: So Is it possible to split up my internship so it can corresponds with my academical callendar? Please if you have done this before or know employers that have done this, let me know!
