I had a phone interview two weeks ago, and a panel interview last week. They said they'd let me know by the middle of this week if I would be called back for a site visit.
They emailed yesterday and asked me to come in sometimes this week to visit the office. Their exactly description of me "a top finalist" in the email. I visited the office today, and the conversation was focused on the nitty gritty of daily operation. They did introduce me to everyone in the office as "so-and-so applied for the xyz position"
They said that they'd contact me tomorrow for the next step.
They said they'd contacted my references, and it was "fun to talk to them." Texted my references and they confirmed it. I'm really excited for this job. It's basically what I do now plus more money and hours.
I don't think I've ever gone this far without an offer on the table. Talk me down like how Michael Scott talked himself down from Holly's proposal.
