Bait/Switch after relocation

Hi all. I recently accepted a position and only found out a few days before that the role would be substantially different than what it had been advertised as, and what I interviewed for. I would not have taken the offer had I known this.

I’m pretty angry as this involved a relocation with a very small relocation package. And that I found out only a few days before starting, only because I asked. I otherwise would have found out the day I started.

I’m curious what you folks would do, or have been in similar situations?
