First off, I'd like to say, I have a job already. It's not my favorite, sometimes it can be crappy, but it pays the bills, amirite?
And that is my point. I've held a fair amount of jobs in different fields, and none of them have been anything other than a means to pay for food and internet.
Why do I feel this way? I'm a creative. Most jobs are not fulfilling in that department, and unfortunately, that's what I crave on a basic level. I came close with one job. I wanted to be a tattoo artist. Went through the 2 year apprenticeship just fine, but when it came to being the person actually inflicting skin wounds and causing bleeding? Couldn't take it.
Trying to sell my art is just... depressing. I'm sure other artists can relate.
So does anyone out there have any advice on finding artistic or at the very least creative professions? I know they exist and it can't just be blind luck to land one, haha.
