I've applied to around 20 places and called in around 10 and out of all of them, I only got 1 interviewew. However the manager told me she was looking for adults not 17 year olds, even though she loved my personality/smile. When I call in I sometimes ask for the status of my application. It's always the same story. "We will call you," or "I haven't had time to review applications yet." Sometimes I ask if I could schedule an interview. They usually say the smaw things. What am I doing wrong? Maybe it's because I have no work experience? But I have so much leadership and volunteer experience on my Resume. I call in, because they never call me. It's so frustrating, because I really need a job. My parents don't have a lot of money and if I want to hang out woth friends or buy extra school supplies I have to pay. But I have no money. How can I get a job?
