Hello. I'm 22 and a waitress. I have dealt with all sorts of customers you could imagine but none quite like last night. I greeted a couple at the door with a warm welcome and a smile and seated them at their table. I handed them a menu and asked if I could get them drinks. I came back and handed them their drinks and asked if they were ready to order. The man answers every one of my questions from "how are you guys doing tonight" to "what would you like to order" with a sarcastic "funny" answer not taking me serious at all. Whatever. Then he says to me "I can't hear very well and it's too noisy in here, could you please come closer to me?" I'm going to open a quick parenthesis and mention that 90% of my customers are elderly seniors. They're old people. I'm used to this all the time, close parenthesis. So I lean closer to him as he points to the menu and as I get close dude GRABS ME AND KISSES MY CHEEK. It was so freaking bizarre, awkward, uncomfortable, it was no "grandpa" cute kiss, that dude was eyeing me and then he did that YO I stopped everything and said "DON'T TOUCH ME are you freaking insane" his wife sitting literally across from him goes "oh honey, why would you do that" in the most soothing voice, I was like ?????? WHAT IS THIS?
But yeah to conclude, I didn't cause a drastic scene (even though others said I should've punched him) I was literally harassed it was so gross. I kept it together as I'm a very self controlled person, gave him his food and told him to never do that again to anyone ever. He must've felt like bad bc he tipped me 40% -_-
My father said I should've taken him to court since there were so many witnesses.
