Tired of the job hunt...

I hope it's okay to complain a little bit. I'm just so tired of the job hunt. I applied to hundreds of jobs, some of which pay peanuts compared to what I'm making, tweaked my resume several times, tried different cover letter styles, and wrote numerous short-answers and writing samples. I'm just so tired. I hate my job and I hate the job hunt and I'm seriously burned out from everything. The worst thing is that I really can't just take time off at my job, and time off doesn't do anything for me anyway (I just took off this month and immediately felt stressed when I returned).

I just wish I could find a job with no strings attached that wasn't a scam and actually gave me a chance. I've only been contacted by scams and twice for phone screens, both of which ended up ghosting after telling me they'd reach back out to schedule interviews within a few days.

I seriously feel like the job culture in America is setting people up to have a nervous breakdown. It's just so exhausting and there is no alternative. It's either keep up or die.
