I’ll be 27 in September and have been in the HVAC business as a service tech/do it all since I graduated high school. I have some college credit but flunked out because my head wasn’t where it really should have been. Currently I work for a family member as a 1099 employee with no benefits other than potentially inheriting the company. At first I liked the idea but now I’ve realized the wear and tear on my body and constant driving isn’t what I want to do for the next 20-40 years. Ideally I’d like to finish my degree but financially I don’t have the money and I just recently got a credit card to build up my credit score so taking out loans isn’t a good option. I’ve been putting in applications but haven’t had any success. So what steps can I take to help secure interviews? I’m looking for something indoors like at a museum or library but am open to suggestions.
