I posted this question in r/ITCareerQuestions, but I wanted to get some input from the broader r/Jobs community.
TL;DR
I currently have a good job with a solid trajectory as an Associate Product Manager. I'm being recruited for a contract-to-hire Product Owner position at Amex. This position would pay approximately 58% more than my current job, but I've never worked as a contractor in this capacity and I'm wary of C2H gigs. I know they're pretty common in tech, but I've heard horror stories. I'm trying to get out of debt and looking to start a family in the next few years, so the money is very enticing.
