I don't feel like I graduated, it was so long ago and I never once used my qualifications. I studied amenity land use and was a terrible student but I graduated. I then literally spent the next 11-12 years wandering around the world as 'poverty jet set'. I worked as little as possible but when I did it was as a (very average) cook or a (reasonably good) massage therapist. I've spent the last 15 years or so as a photographer/photographers assistant. It pays great but I don't make enough to save any money and I live in the Bay Area so I'm never far away from not being able to pay the rent.
What are my career options? I need a regular job but don't even know where to start looking. I had one interview for a driving job and my historical lack of an employer was an issue so I expect it to be so going forward. I just feel capable of more than unskilled manual labour.
I'm not clever enough to train to be a programmer but I'm very willing to study a new skill.
All ideas very gratefully received.
