Hi all. First post on here so excuse if it is the wrong place to do it. I am currently a rising senior for college and on my 2nd summer interning for a company. I am hoping to receive a job offer and my manager has known this since last summer even tried to extend my internship into the school year but the budget was too tight for that. This week on Wednesday the department director whom I've only spoken to a few times and never had a meeting with put a 1-on-1 on my calendar for next Wednesday with just that title, no other info on the invite. The thing is, the intern sitting next to me who also works with me also got a 1-on-1 right after mine. Today, my manager mentioned I should be getting some "aptitude test" from HR in the coming week. Am I getting ahead of myself here? Of course, I haven't discussed it with anyone to not let things be known and then lead to nothing but I just wanted someone's opinion.
