So I've been in my current job for a while. I work hard, strive to do everything correctly and provide good service. When my bosses do reviews they are always positive. My supervisor always turns to me for help covering extra work. I like my job for the most part. I enjoy the people and the work. But I'm feeling stuck. Every time a position opens up to advance in the company I apply but I don't get the promotion. I'm slowly starting to feel like there is a glass ceiling I just can't break through. And I worry it will hurt my performance because a large part of what motivates how hard I work is the goals I have to move up in the company. Suggestions on what to do?
