I never get paid on time and I blame myself for some reason.

So I have been working for a startup for half a year now and have never been paid on time. I started out as a consultant but am now considered an employee. My contract states paychecks will be distributed bi-monthly. The last two paychecks I got were both received after sending multiple emails and phone calls (remote job) after 6 weeks.

I know we have had funding problems, but I have been continuing to work under the belief that we would get funding. Based on what I have heard from the CEO, we have gotten the funding we need, and are growing fast. I am now at 4 weeks of no pay, and I'm moving soon so I need to start getting paid consistently.

I have lost a lot of motivation and have been doing less work than I usually do. I am pretty fed up and feel like a charity case, but it makes me feel bad. I can't shake the thought that I am being lazy and I'm going to be fired for not doing the tasks I said I was going to do. Then I think "how can I be fired if I'm not even being paid."

I'm pretty conflicted about the situation based on what has happened in the company. I believe we have a lot of potential coming up soon, but I just can't afford to keep being played like this. Any advice?
