I have been at my current job for two years as a software developer with security clearance. My dream has always been to do some solo traveling and, in a little over a month, I will be making that dream come true :) I will be away for 3.5 months.
My plan all along has been just to quit my job but I have recently thought about requesting a sabbatical instead. If my boss says no, I will just quit. How would you guys recommend handling that conversation?
