I work for a utility company and we often work with contract companies and other firms for our bigger projects. I applied for a job with one of these companies and got a phone interview a few days later. The phone interview goes really well to the point where she told me I basically had the job so I was super excited, but then she follows up with an email asking if I would be okay with interviewing in front of a panel of supervisors from my current job, the prospective job and another area utility company. I barely want HR to know since my boss is close with them and I explicitly told them in the application and the phone interview that I don't want anyone to know that I'm considering leaving. Is this a normal request? How should I handle this? Thanks!
