NZ Citizen wanting to relocate to the US

I am not sure if this is the right sub for this, but as the title says I am a NZ citizen, and hold a BSc Undergraduate degree in Applied Maths & Stats followed by a BSc (Hons) in Applied Maths. I have approximately 3 years of professional work experience in the finance industry and was wondering what would be the best plan of action to help me land a role. I am specifically trying to move to Texas preferably Dallas/Fortworth area but Houston and Austin works too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
