I’ve been searching for a job for about half a year and so far no luck.

I’ve been searching for a job, which will be my first job, for almost half a year and no luck so far. I never thought that it would be this difficult getting a job because my friends all got jobs within a span of a few months and I thought the same thing will happen to me as well. Whenever I apply I sometimes don’t even get a call for an interview and in those rare times that I do I end up failing them. I feel like it’s lowering my confidence especially that I’m about to be 21 in a couple of months. I’ve done volunteer work at a retail store before but that doesn’t help with my job searching surprisingly. I just applied to a retail store a couple of days ago and I hope that I at least get a call back from them and if I do, I hope it’ll finally be the end of my job hunt.
