The company I was temping to basically turned around and rejected my contract even though it was past the point in time which they were supposed to hire me (100days). Now the temp agency is refusing to give me work under the guise that (they have nothing right now) eveb though they have about 2 dozen job postings across various websites and such. Long story short I'm out of work. For the past 3 weeks I've been looking for a new job. Because I sort of knew they were going to be like this.
I'm trying to get a trade, I'm even offering to do work experience until the possibility of a trade opens up but they all want me to go back to school. 1) I have ADD and struggle at studying. 2) when I'm in school I legit want to kill myself. I know this I've tried multiple times to study after finishing highschool 4.5ish years ago.
But I'm not just trying to get a trade I'm applying for everything except hospitality where most of my experience is because I want to change careers and absolutely refuse to work another shitty hospo gig.
I've applied to over 100 jobs in the past 3 weeks. I've written cover letters for pretty much all of them. At this rate I'm going to take a golf club and put on a cape and go fuck up the council building (not hurt anyone, just destroy shit) so I can go to prison and not pay rent/buy food and probably even come out of it with either a trade or the start of one.
