How to address this if it’s brought up?

I student taught at a private preschool. The director was amazing and super sweet so I have her on my resume as a reference.

Her school is awesome, but jobs don’t come up very often as it’s part time and follows the public school schedule(most in my area are full time 7-6 year round)

I took a job that starts in a week and they definitely called her for a reference. I noticed last Thursday there’s a job open in her school(I’m assuming it starts next school year because it’s late in the year).

I applied and she called me Friday. I called her back today and left a message(didn’t see her message until today). She might bring up the fact someone called for a reference. How do I address this?
