How long to do a background check

Guess inc took my sin to run a check on me I think just wondering how long would it take to get the results so I know if I got the job or if I should move on. Didn't tell me of the offer was conditional on the test results. I had the interview and they took my sin on April 23rd it's the 27th today its also for the position of cashier assume it wouldn't take long and I'm stressed on getting a summer job
