A physics bachelors jobs options

I'll be applying for college in the US later this year and I want to have a degree in physics and I don't necessarily want to stay in academia so what is the best fitting major for the job market ( I think it's physics but I might be wrong ) and after that what are my chances for getting a good job and what are said jobs
