What are Some of the Best Ways to Boost One's Job Search/Relocation Goal during a 1 Week Trip in the Target Area?

I'm an early career IS/T professional interested in relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX metroplex. I live 3 states away. I have two years full-time professional experience in IS/T and additional years of IS/T experience in a part-time capacity. I earned a BS in Math and an MS in Management Information Systems within the last 3 years. I have been actively looking and applying for jobs for nearly 2 months and have only been offered 2 phone interviews. I have read numerous online articles and guides regarding resumes, cover letters, and other aspects of the application process. I don't have a LinkedIn profile and don't have any professional contacts in the DFW area that could help me land a job. I'm seeking info on IT staffing agencies or ways that I could obtain a few interviews during a 1 week trip to DFW that I will take in the near future. Thanks.
