I’ve been working an office job for close to half a year now. Started as basic office admin and moved my way towards I.T. due to my previous work experience in tech support. After my “introductory period” my contract says my pay would go up an extra $3 an hour. I was excited.
2 months ago I noticed my pay staying pretty close to the same amount but never did more than a glance at my stub. This check unnoticed my pay was still the same. Looked at my last few stubs and while the pay shows the agreed amount, the math doesn’t add up. They said they would fix it but I’ve heard nothing about being compensated. It’s always, “we will talk about it later” and I never hear back.
Should I talk to my HR Rep? Demand a serious conversation with the owner? I’m stuck here and don’t wanna be taken advantage of.
