Should I leave a message over the weekend?

I got a voice mail from a possible job saying they want me to call them, but I didn't notice it until now (late on a friday). I'm going to try calling tomorrow, but on the off chance they're not open for the weekend, is it a good idea to leave a message or just try and call back on monday? What is the correct etiquette on this one?
