Need a job - should I take an offered job with low pay, or decline in the hopes of hearing back from other jobs I applied to that pay more?

I can survive off the low paying job. I guess this is just me thinking I'll be pissed AF if I accept the low paying job and then later hear from the higher paying jobs, but then again there's no way I know that and I obviously can't be too picky when it comes to the job market...any advice? Thank you!!
