How should I go about applying for out-of-state internships?

I am going to be moving from Michigan to Los Angeles over the summer, and I wanted to apply for internships in the LA area. However, I have no idea how to say that I'm going to be living in Los Angeles in my cover letter/resume without it sounding clunky or weird. Any advice on the best way to put in that information?
