How did you getting promoted to a leadership role affect your relationship with your coworkers

I work as a youth worker and me and my coworkers are a pretty tight knit group. I consider a lot of them to be good friends. I just got offered a promotion which I'm excited. I'll be running the day to day operations and will be their supervisor. I'm wondering how this will affect my relationship with my coworkers. So for those of you in this situation, how did you navigate this situation? Were you still able to maintain a strong friendship? Any tips or advice you can give?
