Going to be laid off, what next?

I've been with my current employer for almost 7 years now and I have been in management for 6 of those years (I started as a technician). I work in the telecommunications industry. I'll be turning 32 years old in a couple of weeks, my daughter just turned 2 months old, and I have 90 days to find a job until I am off payroll. I am actually glad that this is happening as I feel I've been stuck for years and I started to hate my job for how upper level management has turned it into.

During my time with my employer I managed to get my BS in Business with a concentration in Finance. I initially wanted to get into the business side of things but I realized my passion was working in the IT world. I wasn't able to change my program as I was almost complete with my degree when I realized it and my counselor advised me to continue with my Business degree.

Though I am excited for this new opportunity I am unsure of where to begin to find a new job and how to do it. My only other job before this one was in the military and that was about 11 years ago. I've come here to ask for advice on how to tackle my impending unemployment.
