I work at a large supermarket and have just gotten shouted and yelled at by multiple people for doing my job. Heres the story I was unloading a pallet by hand outside of the shop today into trolleys while the forklift was operating me and many other colleagues do this as long as a safety vest is worn at the time there where multiple people outside, I then went to wheel said trolleys back inside and got asked by a staff member "are you suppose to be out there" I replied with "yes" because I am usually required to be outside to take care of the pallets of drinks out there as that is where they are stored. She then proceeded to ask me to leave and do something else in a very aggressive tone. I left but I had nothing else to do as my trolley with drinks that needed put out was still outside. I was then speaking to a colleague on the shop floor that suggested I go grab the trolley and start on that then. So I did just that and started to walk out the back of the shop and was greeted with two older ladies shouting and yelling at me to stop. I turned and was faced with the health and safety manager yelling at me asking what I was doing. I replied with just getting my trolley. She then started to take pieces out of me explaining why I couldn't. When I replied with why can't I when there are at least 12 people all out here when the forklift is moving. She brushed off the question and started yelling again telling me to go away and do something else I had nothing to do though she then yelled telling me to go away and not come back out till they were done on the forklift saying all while overpowering me and what I was trying to say. I walked away trying to be calm but I was really upset at how much she yelled at me and angry at how stupid she was. I called her a cow told her to neck herself said it was bullshit and walked away. After having a cry for a bit. I went back to work was greeted to my boss telling me I was in the wrong for being out there I told him why was everyone else out there when the forklift was operating then. He also brushed it off. And said that I was in the wrong and shouldn't have used language like that. And I asked for an apology for the way she treated me I wouldn't have used that language if she didn't treat me like a bottom feeder. He replied and stated that what I said was wrong and I should forget about the situation an apology. I am really upset and furious at the situation and now I'm public enemy number one at work today. Sorry for spelling mistakes on break atm got to type fast.
