Hello all, I've been working at my new job for a month now and it just doesn't seem like a good fit. I should have gotten red flags when the person that was suppose to orientate me did not give me the time of day and it was just an over the phone thing that was 10 mins long and she really didn't help with anything. Also the employees before did not do what they were suppose to and left me with a mess to deal with and tbh it's not my job to do those things. I do feel bad for leaving like this but I can't pick up the pieces that the previous employees left behind because there's a lot to deal with. I was not hired to be a fixer just what the job description was to work in my intended field and that was it.
I do have another job offer that has better everything and they do have their shit together. How do I go about telling my current job of a month that I'm leaving with minimal animosity/backlash possible?
