I have a job interview tomorrow and I live in Minnesota, which is amidst the Polar Vortex and experiencing temperatures that can cause frost bite in less than five minutes. For my last interview I wore a knee length skirt, leggings, and a blouse. This was fine in 30 degree weather when I'm just walking through the parking lot to the building, but in temperatures this cold it doesn't seem appropriate attire. Yet I don't want to go to a job interview bundled up in a ton of layers. How do I dress professionally without exposing myself to danger from the cold and while ensuring that I'll be warm inside in case the building is chilly as well?
Edit: The job is at a university in their academic support services department by the way.
