I started at this company a few months ago. I was told I was going to join x department, but they placed me in another one which I hated but I had rent to pay so I had to stay. They promised me that they will me technical projects and work to do. However they havent. This week my manager told me I will be doing breaks and reconciliations from now on...If youre in finance or banking, you know this sucks. Im trying to find another job but itd extreeeemely difficult. Im in uk, eu citizen, so there is a slight issue there as well. Im applying everywhere in europe but its tough... I dont know if I should my manager that I dont like doing breaks? Im already on her bad people list, because I keep asking her to move me internally(which she doesnt want to do she told me). Im starting to feel helpless. I didnt sign up for this crap job. Would I put my self at risk if I openly tell her that im not interested in most parts of the role?
