Does it matter how long you took to get a degree when applying for jobs?

Hello everyone? I don’t know if this is the right place to ask, but I might as well try.

As the title says, I would like to know if in your experience you have come to notice if it matters or not how long it took you to finish your degree. Mine is supossed to be a 5 year program, but for reasons, it’s taking longer than expected.

Will this hurt my chances of getting a job in my field? Does it really matter? If so, how can I mitigate the damage to my resume? Thank you all!
