Currently studying my third out of five years in college. Got a good office job in a field I'd like to work in after I graduate, been here two years. Contract ends 31st of March. I've known this for a while and have been applying to other jobs that pick up on April 1st and will atleast carry on through out summer securing my finances over the summer break. Havnt heard back yet (applied a few days ago).
My current boss called me in to a meeting today and offered to extend the contract til the end of May. I said I'd consider it and get back to her tomorrow.
I'm now a bit lost on how I should handle this. Do I accept the offer and stay here til May and hope for a summer job that picks up then. Or do I decline her offer and keep looking for a more long term secure solution?
I have to make a decision by tomorrow so cant wait til I hear back from the other places.
