Accidentally signed up for interview with an apparent MLM. Not sure if I should cancel or just ignore.

Basically I got a call from Primerica to interview for some position and after digging around online I see that they are most likely an MLM. I'd rather not waste gas money to drive to an interview for a company so widely called a scam. My question is if I should be polite and call to decline the interview or if I could just ghost them? I'm a college student so I'm not sure if there's any consequences to just ghosting them; I personally just didn't want to call them again because I only have my interviewer's number.
