When should I leave my job

Been working here for 7 months, I finish for the year at the end of the week. Now we get paid for the holiday period during Christmas. I’m unsure whether I’ll still get this pay if I hand in my two week notice tomorrow , or whether I should leave after one day back on the job next year.

The way I see it if I hand in notice now it’s easier as I’m leaving anyways and it’s up to their discretion to pay the Christmas pay right ?
