Pretty sure I have a good chance of getting a seasonal Jackson Hewitt job in January but reading some stuff from /r/accounting, makes it sound like working at a tax-mill will actually hurt me. As in CPA firms would rather a person not work than have experience at one of these tax places. The issue is that I didn't finish school with the best GPA and have no internships or much of any work experience. My thinking being a job at Jackson Hewitt being better than nothing. Plus the meager income would be nice.
